Cove Realty offers every guest CSA Travel Protection Insurance, also referred to as Generali Global Assistance, to secure their Outer Banks Vacation for a carefree stay. From mandatory evacuations due to hurricanes to a variety of situations that could potentially interrupt your vacation, CSA has you covered! Travel Protection is offered for any type of stay, be it a partial, nightly stay or weekly vacation at one of Cove Realty's Outer Banks Rental Home's. Outer Banks Travel Protection is offered at 6.5% of the rental rate and tax.
Cove Realty's Cancellation Policy
After making your first payment towards a reservation, the reservation is confirmed and you are locked-in for those dates. If you have yet to make a payment and need to cancel or switch to a different Outer Banks Rental Home, there is no financial obligation to you, simply let us know and we can cancel the reservation accordingly. However, if the reservation is confirmed, you will need to let us know in writing (or by Email) that you need to cancel, where we can open up the reserved dates and attempt to re-rent them. If the corresponding dates re-rent, money paid will be returned minus a 10% cancellation fee (calculated at 10% of the rental rate). If corresponding dates do not re-rent, then money paid towards the reservation will be distributed to the owner with no reimbursement to the guest. If Vacation Travel Insurance is purchased, then the cancellation process remains the same, but CSA will reimburse for any lost funds, conditional on terms of cancellation.

NOTICE TO GUESTS WHO PURCHASED TRAVEL INSURANCE FROM 3rd PARTY SITES (HomeAway, VRBO, etc.)
3rd party advertising sites like HomeAway, VRBO, VacationRentals.com, and so forth, offer their own CSA Travel Insurance Policies that are separate from the CSA Policies that Cove Realty offers. These policies do not carry over to Cove Realty and claims must be handled through CSA and the 3rd party site the policy was purchased from. CSA Policies purchased through 3rd party sites may not contain the same coverage as Cove Realty's policy and may be based on a different pricing equation.
